Creamy smooth, this delicious Ouedis Brut Rosé from Enrico Serafino has delicate aromas of red berry, violet and brioche. Polished and savory, the elegant palate doles out cranberry, pomegranate, vanilla and pastry cream alongside an elegant mousse and bright acidity.
A burst of crushed stone minerality combines with lime zest and freshly snipped mint as the 2019 Brut Rosé Oudeis blossoms in the glass. This is sharply focused and chiseled in feel, with savory spices and tart orchard fruits forming a crunchy sensation. The 2019 finishes with a salty flourish and slowly fading young peach notes. The 2019 takes Oudeis to a much spicier and savory place. Also of note is that this is listed as 100% Pinot Noir, whereas past vintages included a 20% dose of Chardonnay.

Packaged with a brown label, the Tenuta Scerscé 2018 Valtellina Superiore Nebbiolo Essenza is enormously clear and intense with varietal tones of wild berry, tart cherry, blue flower and potting soil. This wine shows a pretty floral side with blue violet and fresh lilac that offer a pretty sense of vertical lift to the bouquet.
A tense and mineral expression here with fine spices and pure red berries. This is transparent and understated on the palate with crumbled fine tannins that linger with the minerals and berries in a long, intense finish. Drink now.
